Welcome to second grade ! Building life-long learners is my goal.  I want my students to love learning and be filled with excitement when they come to school.  

This year marks my sixteenth year of teaching.  This is my seventh year here at CES. I previously taught 4th grade in New Braunfels. Canton is my hometown and I am honored to be able to teach at the elementary that I attended.  I met my husband, Shane, in college at Texas State University.  He is from Crandall, so we were thrilled when we got the opportunity to relocate closer to family.  We have a seven year old son, Cole,  and three year old daughter, Carmon, who keep us busy.  Our family loves to spend time outdoors and go camping. A few of my favorite things include: technology, traveling, coffee, running, and reading.
