CES Welcome Back Message

🏫 Welcome Back from the Nurse! 👩‍⚕️💚

Hello Canton Elementary students and families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I’m Nurse Berry, and I’m so excited to see all your smiling faces back on campus. Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time—I'm here to help keep you safe, healthy, and ready to learn every day!

💊 A few reminders for a healthy school year:

  • If your child needs to take medicine at school, you’ll need to complete and return the required forms before medication can be given.
    📄 Medication Administration Form

  • If your child has asthma or severe allergies, please submit an Action Plan signed by your healthcare provider.
    🌬️ Asthma Action Plan
🐝 Allergy Action Plan and Food Allergy Health History

  • If your child has a seizure disorder, please complete a Seizure Action Plan so we can respond appropriately in case of an emergency.
    ⚡ Seizure Action Plan

  • If your child has a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, they must stay home and be symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning to school.

📥 You may drop completed forms off at the school, email them to me, or send them with your child. Do NOT send medication with your student. Adult must drop off.  Please feel free to bring their medications to meet the teacher night as well.

🩺 The nurse’s office is always a safe, caring place for students who don’t feel well or just need a moment to regroup.
