All About Mrs. Perry

My name is Jasie Perry and I grew up in Canton. I started school with CISD in the 3rd grade. I graduated in 1999 from Canton High School and went on to pursue my education at Stephen F. Austin State University. I graduated from there in 2003 with my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. I married my best friend and the love of my life, Matt Perry, in August of 2003. We resided in Tyler for two years where I began my teaching career. While in Tyler, I taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade each at different times. We moved back to Canton in 2005 to become more active in our home church, Word of Victory. I continued teaching in Tyler until the 2008-2009 school year when an opportunity for me to teach at Canton Elementary became available. I absolutely love it here and feel very blessed to work with such a wonderful staff, parents, and children. On a more personal note, I enjoy watching sports, especially baseball and football, and serving in different ministry areas in my church. I have been the Worship Pastor at Victory Church for the last 11 years. My two favorite things are teaching and music so I get to enjoy the best of both worlds. I have two siblings, Josh Engebretson and Brittani Fowler. Matt and I have a son, Maddox, and a chocolate lab, Belle. I have a passion for learning, teaching, and serving in any way that I can, and hope that a love for people is always evident in my life.
