Meet Your Counselor

I am so excited for the 2022-2023 school year! I will be beginning my 18th year in education, with four of them being in counseling. I am especially thrilled to be working with your children at Canton Elementary!

 

As the school counselor I strive to ensure that all students feel safe and loved at school. I will conduct Guidance Lessons in your child's classroom throughout the year where I will introduce different ways to regulate strong emotions, how to be a good friend, how to handle conflict, and how to make good choices. Throughout the year I will meet with students in large class settings, small groups, and individually.
