About Ms. Dean

My name is Allison Dean and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade here at Canton Elementary! I actually started kindergarten just a few doors down from my current classroom, moved away, then came back for 3rd-12th grades! It is a true honor to be an Eagle again, this time as a teacher!
 
After graduating from CHS in 2005, I attended Texas A&M University and Oklahoma Baptist University, where I obtained my degree in Family & Community Services. Being a teacher was all I ever wanted to be when I was growing up, so I obtained my alternative teaching certification and began teaching in 2011!
 
I previously taught 2nd grade and Pre-K in Palestine and Tyler, took off a few years to stay home with my daughter, then taught 5th grade in Arizona before moving back to Canton last year.
