Welcome to Kindergarten

My name is Mrs. McClendon and I am a kindergarten teacher at Canton Elementary. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001. I grew up in Rockwall and my husband Dustin and I moved to Canton in 2012. We can't imagine raising our girls anywhere but in the wonderful community of Canton, Texas.

 

I have two daughters; Kate who is in 8th grade and Lauren will be in 5th. My husband, Dustin, works at Texas Farm Credit. We enjoy watching the girls play in sports and other activities. I like to garden and design things in my free time.

We are growing our brains in Kindergarten and attendance is important. The doors open at 7:45 and the tardy bell rings at 8:05. Here is a glance at our daily schedule.
