A note from Mrs. Neystel

Hi! My name is Kristy Neystel and I am so excited about our new school year. This is going to be a great year.

At Canton Elementary, we work passionately to teach our first graders to their full potential. We have the best students, the most supportive parents, and the greatest staff.

First graders at our school will work at learning to read fluently, solve math problems that include counting money, telling time, adding/subtracting, and understanding place value. They will also learn about the community around them, weather, and many other interesting topics.

I cannot wait to meet your child this year.
