I am so excited for the new school year and thrilled to be working with your children at Canton Elementary!
As the school counselor I strive to ensure that all students feel safe and loved at school. I will conduct guidance lessons in your child's classroom throughout the year. Lessons will include ways to help regulate strong emotions, how to be a good friend, how to handle conflict, and how to make good choices. Throughout the year I will meet with students in large class settings, small groups, and individually to give students the skills they need to a better learner, better friend, and a better part of their community.
