Welcome to Second Grade at Canton Elementary School! I'm so excited you're here, and I can't wait to start an amazing school year together!

My name is Mrs. Trina Wilson, and this is my 3rd year teaching second grade and my 16th year with Canton ISD. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to serve in several different roles throughout the district, and I'm so thankful to now be living my dream of teaching in the classroom!

Second grade is a year full of adventures, discoveries, laughter, and lots of learning! We'll become stronger readers, confident mathematicians, curious scientists, and thoughtful writers. Every day brings new opportunities to explore, create, and grow.

My goal is for every child to feel loved, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel safe to ask questions, try new things, and celebrate their successes—big and small.

Most of all, I hope each student leaves second grade with a love of learning that will stay with them for years to come.
